Nicole Booher, MOT, OTR

Nicole Booher joined the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2021. Nicole Booher earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of New Mexico. While in school she worked with the adults with disabilities population as a residential instructor and became passionate about occupational therapy. She completed her Master of Occupational Therapy in 2010 from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX.

Upon graduating she settled in Austin and started working at Downtown St. David’s acute and rehab with a focus in neuro populations. She has also worked in pediatrics, geriatric home health and outpatient settings. She has LSVT BIG certification for Parkinson’s Disease and extensive knowledge in wheelchair evaluations and modifications for both pediatrics and geriatrics.

After her most current experience in outpatient geriatrics and personal experience as a mother, she is motivated to continue her education and focus on the emerging field of pelvic floor and women’s health.
