Dr. Mohan Ganesan completed his bachelor’s degree, post-professional diploma in rehabilitation, master’s degree in physical therapy and Doctor in Neurophysiology from the National Institute for Mental Health and Neurosciences in Bangalore, India. He completed his post-doctoral fellowship at the Department of Physical Therapy, University of Illinois, Chicago. Dr. Ganesan received his Multiple Sclerosis Rehabilitation Therapy Specialty Training fellowship from Cleveland Clinic, a non-profit academic medical center.
His research interest focuses on balance and mobility in individuals with neurological disorders in older adults. He has authored and co-authored more than 40 peer-reviewed manuscripts in the field of neurorehabilitation. In addition to his research experience, he has extensive teaching experience in professional physical therapy programs and rehabilitation sciences. Dr. Ganesan joined the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2019.
