This seminar includes theory and practical application of spinal and extremity thrust techniques. The utilization of thrust techniques by physical therapists in the care of patients with orthopaedic dysfunctions is discussed. Indications and contraindications of thrust techniques are carefully analyzed. Specific techniques for specific dysfunctions are demonstrated and practiced under close supervision, with an emphasis on problem solving.
