Dr. Keegan McKay is a native of Cape Town, South Africa, where he attended the University of South Africa and earned his Bachelor of Arts. He pursued his Master of Occupational Therapy and Doctor of Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman’s University.
Throughout his clinical career, Dr. McKay has concentrated on serving the older adult population, particularly in the skilled nursing facility, home health and outpatient settings. With more than a decade of experience in healthcare management, he has held positions such as Home Health Rehabilitation Director and Administrator of an Outpatient Program.
Since 2017, Dr. McKay has been a contributing faculty member and taught administration and management courses at various university campuses, fueled by his passion for leadership. After joining the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2018, he was promoted to a core faculty member position at the Dallas, TX campus in 2023.
