Dr. Justine Faghihifar joined the University in 2023 and serves as an Associate Professor in the Occupational Therapy (OT) programs on the Dallas, TX campus. She holds a Doctor of Occupational Therapy and a Master of Family Studies from Texas Woman’s University .
Specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorder, mental health, pediatrics, school systems and sensory integration, she has more than 20 years of experience in pediatric clinical practice. As an expert in occupational therapy care, she has a keen interest in curriculum development and community health and wellness.
Dr. Faghihifar’s teaching journey spans more than five years in both master’s and doctoral level courses. She is dedicated to fostering innovative learning and the critical application of new skills, aiming to challenge learners effectively. Dr. Faghihifar has also presented at statewide conferences on issues vital to the occupational therapy field.
