Dr. Rebecca King is an occupational therapist, educator and researcher dedicated to enhancing the lives of older adults and improving outcomes. With more than 20 years of clinical experience, she has held various roles in geriatric rehabilitation, rehabilitation management and administration. Her diverse career includes working in skilled nursing facilities, continuing care retirement communities and outpatient clinics.
In addition to her educational pursuits, Dr. King is an accomplished researcher. She has published and presented at local, state and national levels. Actively engaged in her profession, she serves on the Montana Occupational Therapy Association Board, advocating for the advancement of occupational therapy.
Dr. King’s expertise extends to teaching courses including adult rehabilitation, administration and leadership, physical agent modalities, research, fieldwork and doctoral capstone courses. Her true passion lies in educating future generations of occupational therapy students, fostering evidence-based and patient-centered practitioners who deliver top-tier care.
She joined the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2023.
