Benefits of Becoming an OT
OTA to OT
You already have a strong passion for helping people improve their quality of life. Now you can take the next step in your personal and professional growth by furthering your career in OT through an OTA to MOT bridge program.
Why occupational therapy assistant vs. occupational therapist? With a Master of Occupational Therapy, you’ll be able to obtain licensure as an occupational therapist, which means increasing your level of responsibility and working in a supervisory role evaluating patients and creating plans for an OTA to follow. OTs can choose to work in a specialized area of occupational therapy such as pediatrics, geriatrics or mental health, or even open a private practice or clinic in the future.
Occupational therapists, or OTRs, are among the fastest growing professions in healthcare. With their expanded skills, OTRs have higher earnings potential than OTAs.According to the latest figures from the Bureau of Labor Statistics
An OTA to MOT bridge program enables you to expand your OT skills, elevate your career and take advantage of these increased opportunities in the rewarding field of occupational therapy.
