These simplified admission guidelines are designed to help you easily navigate the application process so you can complete your application in a timely, efficient way. Select your program of interest below to learn how to submit your application and reduce possible delays in its review.
1. Before You Apply
Check all application requirements here.
Be sure you have a an associate degree in nursing (RN-entry) or a bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN-entry)and an active, unencumbered RN license.
Request transcripts from each higher education institution you’ve attended. Have them emailed or mailed to USAHS.
Use Nursys to obtain a copy of your nursing license.
- Update your professional resume, showing 2,080 hours as an RN (RN-entry) or 2,000 hours as an RN by the time of your first practicum (BSN-entry).

Line up two professional references.
2. Fill Out Your Application
Create an account to begin the free online application on our website.
Under the Admissions Documents tab, follow the directions to upload your nursing license, resume and essay.
Input your references’ contact information.
Click “Submit for Review.” Contact your EA so they can review your application and move it forward to Admissions.
