Miami, Fla. – May 26, 2017 – The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, a leading graduate institution that emphasizes health science education through innovative classroom education, is celebrating a recent expansion on its newly opened Miami campus.
The current campus location opened in Fall 2016 as the university’s Miami launch campus. The 17,000-square foot campus welcomed 32 students on its first day and another 41 in January 2017.
The first floor includes collaborative student study rooms with built-in presentation technology, clinical labs, an anatomy lab, lecture classroom space, library, conference room, and student lounge. All classrooms are equipped with touch panel control systems, projectors, mobile class room cameras, document cameras, and video conferencing and wireless presentation capabilities.
The launch campus expansion was completed in May to accommodate a growing number of students and faculty, until the permanent campus in Coral Gables is ready for classes in May 2018.
