Dr. Emily Frank Flack is an Assistant Professor and certified healthcare simulation educator. She joined the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2017 and is a dedicated clinician, faculty member and mentor who seeks to make a difference in the lives of her students and patients.

During her clinical career as occupational therapist, Dr. Flack has worked in a variety of adult physical disability rehabilitation settings and specializes in critical care and neurological rehabilitation. Dr. Flack has held various academic leadership positions focused on curriculum design, interprofessional education initiatives, healthcare simulation and faculty development. Her research interests include corporate wellness, workplace health promotion, simulation in healthcare, caregiver support and training, and somatic breathwork.
